We provide a range of services from Obstetrical cases 32-week gestation and above, to low-risk mothers and infants and those seeking Midwifery care. Our services include 24-hour Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, Anesthesia and soon OB Hospitalist coverage. There is no better time than now to be a part of our team with 13 LDR rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 5 triage evaluation beds.

We have 19 Post Partum rooms and a 14 bed Continuing Care Nursery including 2 rooms for Eat, Sleep Console or Family Centered Neonate care.

Our amazing team within Women and Infant Services cares for approximately 170 mothers and babies each month. We emphasize family-centered care, encourage exclusive breastfeeding, and work hard to provide each family an outstanding, individualized experience. Working for Banner Del

POSITION SUMMARY This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards for professional practice and certification. The position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients. This position delivers lactation education and provides individualized direct patient and family education.

Works in coordination with staff to select and deliver current patient education materials based on identified needs. Provides community and staff education in the specialty area of lactation. Acts as subject matter expert for patients and staff.
