Pay Range

$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr (DOE)

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector ensures that the products being produced meet quality standards and specifications. The inspector reviews products and material, measures objects compared to their physical specifications, runs quality tests, identifies defects, and evaluates supplier paperwork such as certifications to confirm compliance with customer requirements.

Schedule & Location

Thursday–Saturday and every other Wednesday, 5 am–5 pm. Phoenix, AZ.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Examine raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet specified criteria.
  • Perform visual inspections, measurements, and various tests to identify defects or deviations from standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non‑conforming products.
  • Report defects to relevant personnel.
  • Communicate with production, engineering, and management to provide feedback on quality issues and collaborate on solutions.
  • Train production workers on quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Conduct final inspection to ensure products meet all quality standards.
  • Cross‑train in production to fill in gaps.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of quality inspector experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, drop gauges, and measuring microscope.
  • Ability to read drawings/specifications and interpret requirements.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a yearly vision/eye exam to ensure accuracy in quality inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with GD&T.
  • J‑Standard certified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Attention to detail.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
