Role
Summary:
As a Usability Researcher 3 with a focus on qualitative research methods, you will contribute to supporting usability research by conducting interviews, benchmarking studies, and usability tests. Your insights and recommendations will help improve the search engine's user experience.
- Plan and conduct in-depth interviews, benchmarking studies, and usability tests with customers to understand their workflows, pain points, goals, and motivations.
- Document interview outputs in detailed notes.
- Analyze qualitative data to identify patterns, themes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create presentations and reports to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure research insights are incorporated into the product development process.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience with qualitative research methods and customer interviews.
- Ability to analyze qualitative data and derive insights/themes.
- Experience in creating compelling presentations and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, or equivalent training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer empathy.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with search engines or geospatial tools.
- Previous experience running benchmarking studies and understanding customer workflows.
