Compensation: $15.25 to $18.00 per hour. The role includes a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process, with potential to earn unlimited commission above your hourly base rate. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $3.44 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and assists customers with sales, loans, and other transactions on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. This position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity, with final pay determined by location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures and maintain a clean, stocked sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions to customers.
• Collaborate with coworkers to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Complete assigned training and perform other duties as needed.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Minimum age 18;
  High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling experience preferred; able to operate POS systems and standard office equipment.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays; able to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Computer literate and able to perform basic math calculations.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance gross profit. Details provided during the interview process.
