ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet customers, answer questions, and explain the wash options available.
• Stand at the pay stations and assist every customer through the wash.
• Field customer inquiries.
• Guide customer vehicles into the wash tunnel.
• Keep the car wash area clean by performing tasks such as taking out the garbage, sweeping the lot, and using a pressure washer in the wash bay.
• Perform other duties as assigned and report to work on time following the dress and appearance code.

• 70% Customer Interaction
• 20% Site Upkeep (Cleaning/Maintaining)
• 5% Opening/Closing Procedures
• 5% Basic/Light Troubleshooting of Daily Duties

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to anticipate customer needs.
• Ability to recommend different wash memberships to customers.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn a point of sales system.
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude.

• Customer service and some sales experience preferred.

• Stand and walk throughout the workday.
• Use of hands; reach with hands and arms.
• Climb or balance; stoop, crouch and kneel.
• Work in damp and humid conditions and outdoor variable weather.
• Lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Exposure to noise and the need for hearing protection.

Outdoor car wash environment with typical noise level that can be moderate to loud. PPE including hearing, eye, foot, and hand protection may be required. Adherence to OSHA safety guidelines and procedures is required.

Performs responsibilities with minimal supervision.
