Account Manager

Job Summary: Seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager to join a close‑knit team. As part of a dynamic and expanding organization, this role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of middle‑market accounts, with a strong focus on the construction industry. This position requires a self‑motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is capable of working independently while contributing to the team’s success.

Compensation Package:

  • Competitive salary: $80,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Flexible hybrid work environment
  • Opportunity to work with a supportive and knowledgeable team

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a $1.4 million revenue book of business, with 60‑70 % focused on construction accounts
  • Handle all aspects of account management, including marketing, policy changes, and servicing accounts from start to finish (“soup to nuts”)
  • Collaborate with an Assistant and Account Executive (AE) to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Work closely with the VP/Account Executive to meet client needs and agency goals
  • Maintain and grow relationships with middle‑market clients, with an average account size of $150,000 in premium
  • Utilize Applied Epic software to manage accounts effectively (preferred but not required)

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of middle‑market accounts
  • Familiarity with construction‑related accounts is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Applied Epic software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • A proactive and client‑focused approach to account management
