Daytime Security Guard – East Valley Institute of Technology

Applications are being accepted for the position of Full-Time Daytime Security Guard at our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85201 campus location.

Under general supervision, the Security Officer works with the Supervisor and other staff to provide safety of staff, students, visitors and all District property. Maintains vigilance and assists in campus crime prevention.

Job Type: Full Time, 12 Month Calendar

Salary: $20.42 – $25.39 per hour. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in security, law enforcement, or military police OR completion of a security training program equivalent to work experience OR a combination of both.

• Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Current and valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
