Landscaping and Groundskeeping Laborer

Ground Person (Temporary, full‑time)

Location:

Mesa, AZ. Position:
Entry‑level Ground Person.

From Friday, February 27, 2026 to Friday, November 13, 2026, 40 hours per week, day shift 8 am‑4 pm.

• Base hourly rate: $19.42 or higher.
• Overtime rate: $29.13 per hour or higher, offered regularly.

• Ground‑level pruning and trimming of shrubs/hedges.
• Raking, chipping, mulching, and applying safe fertilizers.
• Collecting and hauling debris; loading and unloading crew vehicles.
• Observing plant problems and reporting to crew leaders.
• Attending daily safety briefings.

No prior training, experience, or education required. On‑site instruction provided; no on‑the‑job training provision needed.

Daily work sites located across Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima counties; crew leaves from Mesa headquarters.

• Daily transportation provided to all worksites.
• Workers that meet 50% of the work period eligible for transportation and subsistence reimbursement per federal regulations.
• Return transportation and subsistence coverage for travel to/from employment site.
• Visa‑related travel costs reimbursed as above.
• Tools, supplies, equipment supplied at no cost.

• Payments made weekly on Friday; standard single workweek used for wage calculations.
• No housing provided and no other deductions beyond those required by law.
• At least three‑quarters of the workdays guaranteed each 12‑week period.
