Cable Technician / Installer Job Description
IES is supporting the construction and buildout of a large‑scale data center in East Mesa. This project is expected to last 2‑3 years, and we are hiring multiple Cable Technicians to support all phases of the build.
Pay- CT1 $ 20‑$22
- CT2 $ 22‑$27
- All Depending on Experience
The pay range for this position is $32.00 – $42.00/hr.
ScheduleOvernight shift – 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM. Must be punctual and able to commit for the project duration.

- Cabling infrastructure

- Construction site experience
- Troubleshooting
- General installation experience
- Cable tech experience
- Familiarity with additional cable tray types
- Installing and routing structured cabling
- Cable pulling (CAT5/CAT6/low voltage)
- Working with cable trays and pathway systems
- Terminations and testing
- Supporting overall infrastructure build‑out within the data‑center environment
- MUST be able to pass a Background Check
- MUST be able to pass a Drug Test
- Hand Tools
:
Must bring your own basic tools (snips, crimps, punch‑down tool, screwdrivers, etc.). - PPE
