CR Custom Electric's purpose is to elevate the quality and reliability of construction projects for general contractors throughout the Phoenix metro area through expert electrical contracting services for commercial buildings and luxury custom homes.

CR Custom Electric is a family-owned electrical contractor serving the Phoenix metro area since 2001. We specialize in commercial new construction — ground-up warehouse builds, hospitals, amenity centers, restaurants, and tenant improvements. We’re looking for a skilled Commercial Journeyman Electrician who can operate independently on commercial job sites. You’ll be working alongside experienced foremen on TI and ground-up projects — executing scope, maintaining quality, and contributing to a crew that holds itself to a high standard.

This is not a role for someone who needs constant direction. If you show up, work hard, and take pride in clean installations, you’ll fit right in.

• Executing electrical scope on commercial TI and ground-up projects
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Installing conduit, wire, devices, and equipment to code
• Working independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Holding quality and safety standards on your portion of the job
• Supporting foremen with sequencing, material needs, and crew coordination
• Mentoring apprentices where applicable

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
• Can read plans and execute scope without hand-holding
• Shows up on time, every day — reliability is non-negotiable
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safe work practices
• Works well within a crew structure, communicates clearly
• Valid driver’s license
• Based in Phoenix metro
