As a Senior Developer – Healthcare Solutions
, you will make an impact by designing and implementing end-to-end technical solutions that meet client requirements. You will be a valued member of our Healthcare Technology team
, collaborating with architects, peers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare end-to-end solution designs
. - Develop and implement solutions using C#, .NET Core, SSIS, MS SQL, and Python
. - Perform unit testing using XUnit and ensure adherence to client-recommended coding standards.
- Conduct peer and architect code reviews to maintain quality and compliance.
- Support QA, UAT, and production implementation phases.
- Communicate technical implementation status and solution design updates to the project team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

What you need to have to be considered- Strong experience in C#, .NET Core, SSIS, MS SQL, and Python development.
- Ability to perform requirement analysis and create solution designs
. - Hands‑on experience with unit testing frameworks such as XUnit.
- Knowledge of coding standards and experience in code reviews
. - Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and business teams.
- Experience in healthcare domain
, especially Encounter Data Management (EDM). - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
