Verra Mobility is seeking a Software Developer to develop, enhance, test, and support enterprise applications across modern and legacy technology stacks. The ideal candidate has solid hands‑on development experience with C#, modern .NET, REST APIs, React, and SQL, and is interested in growing their skills in cloud-native development, microservices, micro frontends, software design, and AI-assisted engineering.
The role will contribute to building new cloud-based applications while also supporting and incrementally modernizing legacy applications built with .NET Framework, C#, and ASP.NET.

• Develop and enhance applications using C#, modern .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, React, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop backend services, APIs, frontend components, and integrations based on technical designs and product requirements.
• Contribute to applications based on microservices and micro frontend architecture while following established architecture and engineering standards.
• Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, clean-code practices, separation of concerns, dependency injection, and appropriate design patterns with guidance from senior engineers and Tech Leads.
• Develop reusable and maintainable React/Type Script components and integrate them with backend APIs.
• Develop and deploy applications in a cloud environment, preferably Azure, following established cloud and Dev Ops practices
• Navigate the iterative development and release management processes within the Scrum framework.
• Develop and maintain automated unit, integration, and API tests and ensure changes meet established quality standards.
