LICENSE/CERTIFICATION : State of Nevada Gaming Permit

Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting or have at least 5 years accounting experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows. Must be self motivated and be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to work in stressful situations and be able to meet specific timelines set by Management. Strong communication skills required and must be willing to help others.

• Prepare, upload and review daily posted journal entries.
• Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers and adjust differences in posted financial information.
• Prepare monthly / quarterly / yearly tax returns and assist in meeting gaming compliance requirements.
• Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate backup for assigned accounts in specified timelines.
• Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the majority of work at a desk. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying items such as reams of papers, books, and occasionally lifting moderately heavy office record boxes up to 40 lbs. In addition, this job requires general office cleaning duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, mopping and garbage removal up to 20 lbs.

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
