Commission + $12.00 hr,
downtime hourly rate only.

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT
: 18 years old

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
:
State of Nevada Board of Cosmetology License.

Provides Salon services, including hair, nails and products to enhance the resort experience of our guests, local clientele and team members.

Must have graduated from an accredited and established Cosmetology school. Training must meet current industry standards on knowledge, skills, equipment, and product. Must have hands on training with public. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to work Weekends.

• Responsible for all phases of Hair and Nail care; includes, but is not limited to, high-lighting, weaves, makeup, coloring, hair cuts, hair styles, facial waxing, pedicures, and manicures.
• Advise clients and team members how to best care for the needs of their hair, feet, and hands. Provide analysis and consultation as to which hair cut, style, or color would most accentuate their facial features.
• Provide and sell retail products.
• Demonstrate a strong functional knowledge of Salon skills needed to maintain a professional and strong image.
• Advise clients and team members of the ever changing new retail products available.
• Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

• Any failures must be rectified and kept as transparent as possible.
• Make an effort to hear and understand the guest and communicate clearly with them.

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.

Frequent exposure to natural, organic, or chemically produced products that encompasses all supplies used and stored at any given time in the Spa or Salon for services. The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., with contagious diseases or irritant chemicals. Employees may be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, gowns, coats, boots, goggles, gloves, or shields.

This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
