Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mesquite, Texas. This permanent, on-site position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who can manage high-volume invoice activity with accuracy and consistency. The role supports daily payables operations and requires hands-on experience with Net Suite, including matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. Candidates with at least two years of relevant experience and strong familiarity with AP workflows will be well suited for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

- Process vendor invoices accurately and enter payment details into the accounting system in a timely manner.

- Perform two-way and three-way matching to verify invoice, purchase order, and receiving documentation before approval.

- Review invoice coding and supporting records to ensure expenses are assigned to the correct accounts.

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

- Prepare and support scheduled check runs while maintaining proper documentation and payment controls.

- Maintain organized accounts payable records and update transactional data with a high level of accuracy.

- Use Net Suite to manage day-to-day payable activities and assist with related system-based invoice processing tasks. Requirements

- Hard requirements

+ Net Suite experience highly preferred

+ 2 and 3 way match experience in AP

+ At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable

- Practical experience using Net Suite, including two-way and three-way matching.

- Strong background in invoice processing, data entry, and account reconciliation.

- Ability to review and code invoices accurately in accordance with accounting procedures.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reviewing, and organizing financial information.

- Familiarity with ERP or accounting platforms such as Oracle, Quick Books, or SAP is preferred.

- Ability to work in a permanent office setting in Mesquite, Texas.
