Heavy Line Technician

Cadillac of Mesquite is seeking the most qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced, top-level Heavy Line Certified Technician for our NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY!

The Heavy Line Certified Technician must be proficient in diagnosing and inspecting repairs for various make and model vehicles, including Cadillac specialized components.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Examine, identify, and plan the work arrangements of the vehicle with the Shop Foreman/Service Advisor for communication to the customers. The Heavy Line Technician must provide labor time and parts estimates to the Service Advisor.
  • Repair and replace systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and warranty work to required specifications promptly.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles to confirm resolutions to issues. Guarantee procedures will comply with customer, manufacturer, and company standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks aimed at preserving vehicle longevity and functionality.
  • Attend factory-sponsored seminars to gain insight into the latest automotive technology and industry trends.

Prerequisites:
  • Automotive Technician's knowledge/experience and tools are REQUIRED. Pay is based on experience.
  • Must be a GM Certified Technician
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
