Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – Pediatrics

We are looking for an exceptional Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to work with our pediatric patients. You will follow the treatment plan set by a Speech‑Language Pathologist and provide speech therapy and rehabilitative services to clients with language/communication disorders, swallowing disorders or other related problems.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed speech‑language pathologist.
  • Carries out the plan of care, providing speech and language disorder services in the client’s home as prescribed by the physician.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the client’s condition through observation; document any changes and immediately report any significant changes or responses to therapy to the supervising speech‑language pathologist.
  • Implement changes in the plan of care when written by the supervising speech‑language pathologist and authorized by the client’s physician.
  • Consult with the supervising speech‑language pathologist regarding the client’s progress and response to treatments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and completion of all required clinical hours from an accredited speech‑language pathology program.
  • Current license as a Speech‑Language Assistant, with documented observation and supervision records.
  • One year of experience in an acute‑care, rehabilitation setting, or home health is preferred.
