OverviewWe are seeking a Radiologic Technologist II, internally referred to as our Rad Tech I. Rad Tech II's focus will be on conducting diagnostic X-ray procedures and mammography, which involves operating X-ray equipment to capture images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. An important role in assisting healthcare providers by producing high-quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for our patients.

- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, and other examinations following departmental protocols.
- Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
- Maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Qualifications- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- Effective July 1, 2017 appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- Familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
