Radiologic Technologist

Overview

We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist I at Dallas Regional Medical Center. The role involves conducting diagnostic X‑ray procedures, operating X‑ray equipment to capture high‑quality images that aid in diagnosing medical conditions and formulating treatment plans for patients.

Nights – Weekends Only

Full‑Time

Friday - Sunday; 7pm - 7am

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols
• Maintain X‑ray equipment to ensure proper functioning and image quality standards
• Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort and safety during examinations
• Maintain accurate records of X‑ray procedures, including patient information and medical history
• Operate CT scanners and/or X‑ray machines, adjust settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce high‑quality images, be proficient with C‑Arm fluoroscopic imaging techniques
• Maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accreditation and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration status

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State
• Effective July 1, 2017 applicable national certifications in two modalities required
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations
• One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
• Proficient computer skills
