Base pay range$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr
The X‑Ray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using X‑ray equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes. The role involves preparing patients, operating X‑ray machines, ensuring the quality of images, and adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The X‑ray Tech collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high‑quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.
Job Description:- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
- ARRT-R & CT ARRT, is required.
- Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
- Current BCLS (AHA).
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
- At least one year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment is required.
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
- Venipuncture certificate (proficient in starting IVs for contrast injections).
