Production Operator II
Mesquite, TX/ On-Site
1st Shift: 7:00a - 3:30pm
Rate of Pay: $23.00-$26.00/hr based on experience
The Production Operator II ensures safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment to meet production goals. This role supports quality standards, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to a collaborative team environment. Operators play a key role in delivering products that meet customer expectations.
Primary Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production equipment according to established procedures
- Perform routine quality checks and record results accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety guidelines
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and elevate as needed
- Complete production documentation and system entries promptly
- Assist with material handling and inventory control
- Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team goals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with automated or chemical processing equipment
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Forklift certification
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $23.00-$26.00/hr.
