Join our team to "Make the Difference" by creating a lasting positive impact on the world and local communities.The Material Handler will perform tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant, operating various hand and power tools such as Sit-Down Forklifts and EPJs. Responsibilities include ensuring product efficiency according to established procedures while following all safety protocols and workplace policies to support profitable operations.
Responsibilities:- Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
- Operate ERP system to manage raw materials
- Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shutdowns
- Maintain high ethical standards and comply with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned
Experience:
- Able to work the continental 2x2x3 12-hour shift schedule
- Experience with SAP and ERP systems
- Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-Down Forklift experience
- Inventory control skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or production/material experience
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Experience with SKUs and inventory management devices such as scanners
