We’re currently seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opening- Start date:
As soon as credentialed - 1099 position (must have your own liability and TAIL insurance)
- Pay rate: $95+/hr
- Full time shifts:
Night availability is a must - Shift options: 6‑3 p.m., 1 p.m.–10 p.m., 9 p.m.–6 a.m.
- Provide healthcare services to patients by following established standards, procedures and practices within Emergency Medicine.
- Obtain detailed history and perform physical or psychological examinations.
- Perform or order X‑rays, electrocardiograms, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures, and interpret results.
- Administer therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care.
- Provide physicians with assistance during surgery or medical procedures.
- Instruct patients on prescribed therapeutic regimens, home care and health maintenance.
- Evaluate outcomes of direct patient care and consult with other specialists as required.
- Maintain required records and write progress notes on patient charts regarding status, treatments and procedures.
- Provide preventative health care services to long‑term patients and arrange consultations and referrals.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Active NP license
- MUST have two years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- ATLS is mandatory (must have in order to be hired)
- Bachelor's degree in Health Science
- Active certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) as a "Physician Assistant‑Certified" (PA‑C)
- MUST have two years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- ATLS is mandatory (must have in order to be hired)
