Texas Oncology is looking for a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position will support our Mesquite location in the Radiation department. It is a full‑time Monday‑Friday position (8:30 am–5 pm) with no weekends, calls or major holidays.

The LTIP is an incentive program that typically vests over three years and is tied to performance and operational success. Awards are discretionary, reviewed annually, and subject to continued employment until payment.

Under general supervision, the RN provides professional nursing care for patients in accordance with national and company standards. The RN recognizes the physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care, participates in quality initiatives, and supports the US Oncology compliance program.

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with standards.
• Assess patient health status by interviewing regarding current status and medical history.
• Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
• Provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Facilitate clinical operations and patient care.
• Manage patient medication refill requests from the pharmacy line and record information in the chart.
• Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments.
• Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information in the chart.
• Facilitate communication between patient/family and interdisciplinary team and coordinate related services.
• Assist patients in locating community resources.
• Collaborate professionally with LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience.
• Willingness to consider entry, mid, or senior level candidates.
• Current RN state license in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Requires full range of motion, handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting of up to 40 lb, and normal corrected vision and hearing.
