Overview
We are seeking a Hospital Dishwasher
, sometimes referred to as a Dish Room Attendant or Hospital Sanitation Worker. The Hospital Dishwasher ensures all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. They support food service operations by organizing clean items, assisting with meal preparation, and following strict hospital sanitation and infection control standards.

Hours: 8‑hour shift
Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX

- Operate commercial dishwashing machines and hand‑wash large pots, pans, and utensils.
- Clean and sanitize counters, tables, and equipment while maintaining hygienic work areas.
- Sort and store clean dishes, trays, and utensils in proper locations for upcoming meal services.
- Assist food service staff with assembling meal trays, setting up cafeteria lines, and transporting carts.
- Dispose of food waste, recyclables, and trash according to hospital safety and sanitation rules.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
- County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and must be maintained current.
