• Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on refrigeration equipment such as reach‑in and walk‑in units, cooler display cases, ice machines, salad tables, frozen beverage and beer systems
• Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
• Handle R‑290 and other refrigerants, brazing and soldering
• Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, torches and measuring equipment to service the unit
• Operate a commercial vehicle safely and adhere to all company safety requirements
• Effectively communicate with the customer, work independently under pressure and without close supervision
• Work on‑call nights and weekends when assigned

• Must be EPA certified
• 2–3 years of refrigeration experience
• Registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR)
• Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE and FACTORY are preferred
• Minimum age 18 years
• Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

• Exert up to 150 pounds of force regularly and up to 50–75 pounds frequently without assistance
• Climb and work from an 8‑foot ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist and grasp to perform essential job functions
• Tolerate environmental conditions of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust and poor ventilation
