- Troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on refrigeration equipment such as reach‑in and walk‑in units, cooler display cases, ice machines, salad tables, frozen beverage and beer systems
- Read and understand wiring diagrams and schematics
- Handle R‑290 and other refrigerants, brazing and soldering
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, torches and measuring equipment to service the unit
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and adhere to all company safety requirements
- Effectively communicate with the customer, work independently under pressure and without close supervision
- Work on‑call nights and weekends when assigned
- Must be EPA certified
- 2–3 years of refrigeration experience
- Registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration (TDLR)
- Industry certifications such as CFESA, NATE and FACTORY are preferred
- Minimum age 18 years
- Successful completion of drug screen and criminal background screening
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Exert up to 150 pounds of force regularly and up to 50–75 pounds frequently without assistance
- Climb and work from an 8‑foot ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist and grasp to perform essential job functions
- Tolerate environmental conditions of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust and poor ventilation
