Inventory Control Clerk

Location:

Mesquite, TX (referral information included in original description)

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• W Shift: Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Saturday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm
• E Shift: Tuesday–Friday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am
• Compensation: $20.00/hour

• Conduct cycle counts and bin location audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies; work with Inventory Supervisor/Manager on all related functions.
• Accurately input inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity; complete required documentation on time.
• Trace item history to determine causes of discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
• Operate motorized equipment including Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, and Stand-Up Reach Truck.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Utilize computer terminals to account for inventory issues, returns, and documentation.
• Collaborate with team and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

• Minimum 1–3 months related experience and/or training in Inventory Control and in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift is a plus.
• Experience with WMS software is a plus (Synapse preferred).
• PC literacy with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database.

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
