Retirement Benefits Specialist

Our local client is hiring a Retirement Benefits Specialist to administer retirement plans for all eligible employees. You’ll be the go-to person for contributions, enrollment, and vendor coordination.

• 3+ years of benefits administration or insurance experience

• Calculate, approve, and remit contributions for retirement programs
• Maintain accounts and balances, and prepare monthly financial statements
• Manage enrollment for new participants and resolve data transmission errors with retirement vendors and payroll
• Handle eligibility notices, deduction changes, QDROs, and fund withdrawals
• Serve as liaison between employees and the insurance and retirement companies
• Prepare correspondence about retirement savings programs
• Keep departmental files and meeting documents organized
• Keep retirement program information current on the WFMO website

• High school diploma and 3+ years of benefits administration or insurance experience
• Proficiency with word processing, database, and spreadsheet software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Discretion with confidential information
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• A collaborative, positive approach on the WFMO team

Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Pay rate depends on experience.
