OverviewThe Mechanical Engineer PE I applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.
Responsibilities- Sign and seal engineering documents.
- Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems.
- Improve and maintain current systems or create new projects.
- Design and draft blueprints, visit systems in the field, and manage projects.
- Apply engineering techniques within the scope of the assignment.
- Work under general supervision, handle complex issues, and refer only the most complex problems to higher-level staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and PE license.
- 4-6 years of experience.
- Knowledge of the subject matter, critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematic skills, and technical expertise.
- Effective communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, operating machinery, and working in various environments.
