• Provide excellent customer service; maintain a positive attitude; handle service recovery; interact with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Manage time effectively; advise supervisor of problems; resolve conflicts; follow attendance policies; report compliance issues.
• Keep patients informed; contribute to patient throughput goals.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives; adhere to state and federal regulations; document compliance.
• Collect vital signs, assess patients, record data; obtain tests; discuss plans; administer treatments; manage medications; use proper technique; clean exam rooms.
• Communicate with pharmacies, hospitals, and other medical personnel; record communications; sort correspondence.
• Prepare patients for office procedures; provide privacy; obtain specimens; document results.
• Maintain safety and infection control; stock supplies; monitor equipment; keep logs.
• Support clerical tasks: prepare paperwork; scan records; answer calls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned; conduct specialty testing under physician or RN supervision.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Licenses:
  American Association of Medical Assistants – Certified Medical Assistant OR National Health career Association – Certified Clinical Medical Assistant;
  Certified Medical Assistant – NPCE;
  American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Health Care Provider.
• Skills:
  
  vital signs, documentation, specimen labeling and transport, medication administration, computer literacy; communication and guest relations skills.

• This position does not formally supervise employees.
