This position performs a variety of routine and advanced duties in support of growth, service goals, and profitability for Field Sales within a Branch. Responsibilities include providing service support for existing insureds and members, assisting in the sale of insurance products, completing documentation for business, and providing information to members regarding memberships and insurance.

• Provide professional customer service to members and insureds. Provide service and information regarding memberships and insurance.
• Serve walk-in and telephone members seeking insurance services; sell memberships, assist in selling insurance, and manage member changes and renewals.
• Accept payments, verify coverage, provide binders, and perform administrative duties such as letters, forms, and evidence of insurance.
• Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists.
• Communicate positively with all staff and maintain relationships with management.
• Provide sales support, cross‑sell opportunities, and resolve member‑related problems using judgment; refer issues requiring higher authority.
• Handle routine service work within sales and underwriting guidelines; manage complex complaints at higher level if necessary.

• High School GED required.
• 1–3 years of customer service preferred.
• Moderate proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Advanced customer service skills preferred.
• Property and Casualty/Solicitors license required.
• Property and Casualty Insurance license, valid in selling state – issued within 1 year.

• Work is closely managed with detailed directions.
• Problem resolution typically takes one to two days.
• Under immediate supervision; performs tasks as instructed.
• Individual contributor.
• Failure to accomplish results generally has minimal impact on the organization.
• Primary contacts are with direct supervisor and departmental peers.
