Operations Manager, Retail & Store Manager
We are looking for a District Manager who will lead a district of 8–16 stores in the Louisiana and Mississippi area. As a leader, you will be responsible for the selection, direct supervision, and development of store managers across the district. You will ensure all team members understand how their performance drives company success and will conduct regular site visits to maintain consistency with company values and business objectives.

Reports To: Vice President of Regional Operations Mall
Number of Stores: 8–16 Stores
Major Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsPeople: Multi‑unit leader responsible for selecting and supervising multiple store managers across a district. Communicates performance expectations, ensures team members understand the impact of their performance on company success, and monitors progress and learning of staff. Provides coaching, action plans, and onboarding experiences that meet compliance requirements.
Leadership: Supports strategic growth objectives, recruits and develops a high‑performing team, drives technology adoption, and builds future leaders. Ensures diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives are met and maintains a superior team member and customer experience within regulatory and company standards.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Acts as an advisor and subject‑matter expert. Interacts across all levels, fosters open communication, and collaborates with Signet DMs, vendors, and internal partners to achieve shared objectives.
Performance: Coaches store managers and team members, reinforces brand standards, tracks operational and financial results, and ensures compliance with business ethics. Identifies improvement opportunities and drives initiatives that reduce costs and improve service.
Strategy & Innovation: Provides strategic input on sales, profit, and capital budgeting, identifies trends and opportunities, and implements initiatives to drive results.
Performs additional duties and projects as assigned. Consistent, regular scheduled attendance is essential.
Position QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or comparable job experience required.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience with multi‑site business operations, 2+ years of recent multi‑site management, and a minimum of 4 years in a management role leading department teams.
Driver’s License: Must have a valid Driver’s License and proof of insurability. Preference for Diamond Council of America (DCA) certification.
Technical/Other
Skills:
Must be able to lead others to implement strategies, interpret operational and financial reports, and use advanced proficiency in MS Office and related business technology tools. Strong presentation, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and conflict‑management skills are required. Ability to travel up to 80% of the time and be on call 24/7. Familiarity with Reflexis and Workday is preferred.
