Part time Registered Nurse Metairie and Kenner area

Growing Home Care agency is looking for a part time Home Care Nurse who would be responsible for traveling to the homes of clients to administer bi-monthly nursing assessments. They use their nursing qualifications in combination with their compassion for others to provide quality medical services to their patients. The staffing coordinator provides them with the their assignments and the Home Care Nurse can create their own work schedules.

Staffing coordinator also acts as a point of communication for Home Health Nurse if they have any questions or concerns. Nurse must be willing to cover surrounding areas in Jefferson and Orleans parishes.

Assess and chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit.

Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and specific plan of care.

Coordinate with Physicians and Nurse aids and other individuals in the patient's care plan.

Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.

Responsible for turning assessments into office in timely manner.

Strong interpersonal skills that allow you to get to know patients build personal rapport and establish trust to provide high-quality care.

Flexibility and patience to work in variety of living environments.

Ability to work efficiently.

Nurse must have passed the (NCLEX-PN) and receive a license .

Ability to travel.
