Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (PRN)

Overview:
Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking an experienced and dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate PRN contract at a reputable acute care facility in Metairie, LA. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while advancing your nursing career with a supportive clinical team.

Pay Package:
$46 per hour

Required Skills:

• Valid and current Louisiana RN license

• Minimum of 1+ year of recent Med Surg experience within the last 2 years

• Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

• Ability to work 12-hour day and/or night shifts with varied days

• Strong communication and clinical skills specific to Med Surg settings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)

• Prior experience working in a hospital Med Surg unit preferred

Other Requirements:

• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening

• Flexibility to work varied schedules

• Ability to adapt to the fast-paced healthcare environment
