Contract hours are at discretion of the hospital (36, 40, 48 hours, etc.) Limited Assignment is not eligible for shift differentials or shift incentive bonus Normal length of contract = 13 weeks. Contracts may not exceed 26 weeks $55.00 per hourLet's be real: ER nursingisn' ta job, it's a calling. Your connection to your ER, your patients, yourteam, its deep and personal. You bring all of you to the Emergency Room every shift, every patient. And then, you take a lot of the ER home with you—the tough moments, the hopes, the tears, the possibilities, the unanswered questions, the thankyou's, the heartaches and, yes, even the smiles and laughter.
Your experiences, knowledge, skills, empathy, compassion, and personality all add up to you. And we're excited to get to know you and find out what you'll bring to this intimate, diverse nursing role.
The Must-Haves
Minimum:
Current nursing license to practice in the state of Louisiana and as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Current ACLS,CPIand PALS certifications.
ENPC (can be substitute for PALS)
Preferred:
Emergency Room experience and ER nursing knowledge
