Seasonal Associate (Part-Time) - Lakeside Shopping Center
Seasonal, Part-Time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 20 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, with a shift minimum of 4 hours. All employees must be able to work during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving (including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend) through the end of the holiday season (January 14).
OverviewThe Seasonal Associate works to achieve store sales and operational goals. They will support creating an authentic people experience both front and/or back of house.
Responsibilities- Impacts the business and store environment in a positive manner that aligns with store goals and ALO’s guiding principles.
- Drive and exceed sales targets by utilizing ALO’s Flow initiatives to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Provide a friendly greeting and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support customer engagement.
- Process customer transactions and returns in accordance with policy and procedures.
- Be knowledgeable of store goals, company communications, initiatives, new product launches and other information required by the Store Leadership Team; educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor.
- Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
- Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist in processing shipments in a timely manner.
- Support replenishment on the sales floor in a timely manner.
- Ensure front and back of house procedures are executed per company policy and procedures.
- Maintain continuous movement on the sales floor and back of house; when not assisting guests, perform tasks to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.
- Preferred 1+ years of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Aligns with and embodies ALO’s guiding principles.
- Requires constant movement in all areas of the store.
- Ability to lift, push, carry or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist, and safely climb up/down a ladder.
