Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Maintenance Specialist role based in Metairie, LA. As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, ensuring the safety and proper functioning of hotel equipment and facilities. Daily duties include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and other mechanical equipment. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with company guidelines to enhance guest satisfaction and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general mechanical maintenance
• Proficient problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills applicable to a variety of maintenance issues
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety and quality standards
• Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members, management, and guests
• Previous hospitality or facilities maintenance experience is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when required
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications in maintenance‑related fields are a plus
