We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Engineer to join our team in the Wakefield region providing support across our depot network in the North.

The salary for this role is negotiable (DOE) plus a company van, overtime, and benefits.

About the Role This Regional Engineer Role in Brief;

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), services, LOLER inspections, repairs, manufacturer updates and maintaining the corporate image of our fleet of rental machines.

• Attending breakdowns on customer sites.

• Accurately completing all necessary records of checks, repairs etc using a company issued tablet, following company procedure at all times.

• Communicating effectively with the engineering team and hire office to make sure that the depot maintains maximum machine availability.

Engineer, CAP, NVQ Level 2, powered access, pre-delivery inspection, servicing, LOLER inspections, repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, electrical engineering, hydraulic systems.

Requirements

You must hold an engineering qualification – minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plant maintenance.

Experience with in the powered access industry is essential.
Competent in electro/hydraulic systems.
You will be experienced in fault-finding/diagnostics.
You will be working closely with customers and colleagues, so you must be able to communicate professionally.
You must be able to prioritise tasks in an ever-changing demanding hire environment
