My client is a leading pump manufacturer. They are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their team. The Sales Coordinator provides administration support to the sales team, ensuring customers receive accurate replacement pump and spares quotations, technical product information and excellent service throughout the sales process. The role is critical in maintaining customer satisfaction, supporting business growth and ensuring accurate sales and reporting.
SalesCoordinator role:
- Prepare and issue replacement pump and spares quotations accurately and promptly in line with company KPI's.
- Support the sales team with administration tasks and customer communications.
- Maintain and update customer and product records within the ERP system.
- Review customer specifications and technical requirements and assist in the selection of products and services.
- Coordinate technical queries between customers and internal specialists.
- Prepare and issue monthly customer KPI reports.
- Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals and tender documents.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to support retention and growth.
- Maintain accurate pricing, customer and product information.
- Ensure all sales documentation complies with company procedures.
- Follow company polices relating to quality, health & safety and data protection.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Essential
- Previous experience of preparing and issuing technical customer quotations.
- Previous experience in a sales administration, sales support, or technical administration role.
- Strong customer service and relationship skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience using CRM and/or ERP systems.
- GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
- Experience with in manufacturing, engineering, construction, industrial or technical product sectors.
- Experience with in pumps and/or waste water industry.
- Experience of working with commercial terms and conditions.
- Advance Excel skills including reporting and data analysis.
- Business Administration qualification or equivalent experience.
- Full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £25,000-£35,000, depending on experience.
- Start date would be as soon as possible.
