Join to apply for the Tax Preparer Assistant
- Franchise Location role at H&R Block
Assist with the tax interview process by entering client and W-2 information, assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, reviewing with the client, and completing bookkeeping procedures.
Ensure all clients receive excellent service and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and math skills for tax interview processes
- Effective communication skills in person and on the phone
- Experience with Windows-based computer programs
- Additional state and local requirements may apply
- Coursework in math, accounting, or finance
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), employee assistance programs, fitness programs, discounts, insurance, and tax prep benefits.
