What You Will Be Doing / Main Responsibilities- Professionally interact with customers, internal customers, and vendors (e.g., Store Management, Buyers, and outside drivers)
- Respond to inquiries that require specialized knowledge of the function / department to respond
- Works with multiple computer programs / systems
- Examines and prioritizes work to be completed or best course of action to ensure department needs are met (e.g., process daily billing, cross-dock and rush orders, validating store orders on schedule with correct delivery dates and checking in drivers)
- Checks information for accuracy
- Researches and interprets a variety of information (e.g., missing product, video review, etc.)
- Sorts, files and maintains invoices, receipts, contracts, or other special department documents
- Reviews and/or compares information/data and makes decisions within defined guidelines, parameters, and instruction
- Maintains complex records, logs and files, searches and investigates information found in files
- Frequent communication with management and associates
- Provides assistance to associates within the department and acts as a liaison to other departments
- Reading, writing and communication skills at a proficient level
- Ability to follow verbal or written instruction
- Intermediate keyboarding proficiency
- Intermediate computer skills: word processing and/or spreadsheet
- Math skills at a specific level (e.g., one step: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division or two step percent calculations or more advanced)
- Detail oriented, organized with and analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Scheduling flexibility to cover absences
- Ability to adhere to deadlines
- Physical environment: most work is performed in a temperature‑controlled office environment; incumbent may sit for long periods at desk or computer, use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment; stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required
- Admin/Computer experience
The position will be based in Methuen, MA.
