Business Development, Client Relationship Manager
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Service Manager / Account Manager with experience in the packaging industry. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional service, accurate order management, and long-term customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate understands packaging processes, materials, lead times, and customer needs-and can effectively communicate between internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the main liaison for assigned customer accounts, managing daily communications and ensuring a high level of service.
- Oversee order entry, order tracking, production scheduling coordination, and on-time delivery.
- Maintain deep understanding of packaging products, materials, and manufacturing capabilities to provide accurate guidance to customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to support account retention and growth.
- Troubleshoot issues related to orders, quality, logistics, and specifications; coordinate resolutions internally.
- Prepare account status reports, forecasts, and customer activity summaries as required.
- Collaborate with sales, production, design, and logistics teams to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal procedures, and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell packaging solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- 3+ years of customer service or account management experience in the packaging industry (flexible packaging, corrugated, folding cartons, labels, or similar strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and order lifecycle.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP systems, order entry, and customer portals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- High attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
