Remote (expected travel to Methuen, MA and occasional attendance at team events).
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary execution partner for municipal and public‑sector opportunities, managing complex labor agreements and plan variations.
- Support trust‑based and direct carrier arrangements (e.g., Health Trust, School Care, Anthem, Cigna, HP, BCBS) and provide direct administrative support to producers.
- Prepare for in‑person client meetings, collate labor agreements, and develop accurate renewal summaries.
- Create illustrative quotes, comparison matrices, and renewal models for board and school committee presentations.
- Build and maintain Excel models for fully insured and self‑funded benefit proposals, using advanced formulas and data analysis.
- Analyze carrier data, claims information, and plan designs to support strategic recommendations and translate raw data into consultant‑ready and client‑ready materials.
- Own the development of presentation‑ready materials, integrating carrier quotes, plan design changes, and key decision points into clear, professional presentations.
- Track deliverables and timelines to ensure consultants are prepared for client‑facing meetings and support post‑meeting follow‑up.
- Work directly with carriers to obtain quotes, confirmations, policy details, and supporting documentation; maintain accurate records in Benefit Zone and Hub Spotli>
- Create repeatable processes to reduce friction, delays, and last‑minute fire drills.
- 5+ years of experience in administrative and sales support roles, with at least 1‑2 years in the benefits/insurance industry.
- Life and Health Insurance License (required within the first six months of employment).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple producers.
- Excellent attention to detail, follow‑through, and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with municipalities and public sector a plus.
The estimated base salary range for this full‑time position is $60,000 – $80,000, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.
