Location:

Methuen, MA Evening Shift (8H) Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment: assess patients' mental health status through interviews, observations, and clinical assessments to identify their specific needs and establish individualized care plans.

Medication Management: administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and educate patients on proper medication management specific to psychiatric conditions.

Therapeutic Interventions: facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping patients understand and manage their mental health conditions.

Crisis Intervention: implement crisis intervention strategies to address acute psychiatric episodes, ensuring patient safety and stabilizing their condition.

Care Coordination: work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient treatment.

Patient

Education:

develop and lead educational programs for patients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and wellness practices.

Documentation: accurate documentation of all patient care in electronic health records is essential, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience

• Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
