Customer Service Associate I at Family Dollar — Metter, GA

Part-time position. This role focuses on delivering a great shopping experience for every customer and supporting store operations.

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment according to productivity standards
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment; maintain professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, trash removal, and overall neatness
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
