Patuxent Engineering, LLC is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer for our NJ/NYC Office located in Metuchen, NJ. This position is an in-office role working with a team of engineers and designers.

Ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Relevant experience in the industry (preferably at least a couple of years).
• Interest in concrete, steel, and foundation design, as well as Mechanical means and methods for construction.
• Experience working with a team in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively internally and externally.

Additionally, candidates should have experience with drafting software (AutoCAD 2D/3D), structural analysis software (RISA preferred), solid modeling software (Inventor), and math programs. Familiarity with structural steel design codes (LRFD / ASD), wind/seismic codes, and NYC Building Codes is a plus.
