-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.
University Radiology is looking for a full-time Mammography Tech Assistant for our Metuchen, NJ Imaging Office.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Assist mostly Mammo Techs and with patient flow
- Communicate with patients and prepare them for the exam
- Patient film and report coordination
- Stock supplies
- Other office related tasks as needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Medical office experience preferably in radiology
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Enrollment in a formal radiologic tech program is a real plus
