We are looking to recruit to the role of Assistant Management Accountant looking after direct costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and analyse direct costs by scheme for inclusion in Service Charge Accounts.
  • Complete regular bank and treasury reconciliations and support effective cash management.
  • Work with the Customer Team to reconcile void recharges and analyse performance against budget.
  • Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentary.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and detailed cash flow reporting.
  • Liaise with budget holders and other departments to resolve queries and provide financial insight.
  • Assist with statutory accounts, year-end audit and rent ledger reconciliations.
  • Investigate banking discrepancies and unidentified transactions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, processes and reporting.
  • Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc duties as required.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, self-motivated and confident working on their own initiative, with excellent attention to detail and a genuine desire to make a difference. More important than qualifications is your mindset - we want someone who will take ownership, spot opportunities for improvement and bring ideas that will enhance and develop the role over time.

  • 25 days annual leave (+Bank holidays) increasing by 1 days per completed year of service to 30 days
