Document Control Specialist - Full Time

Location:
Mexico, MO, 65265

Experience you will need:
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.

  • Preferred:
    Bachelor Degree, Engineer, Technical training and/or coursework in quality systems.

  • Certifications in ISO/IATF and IMDS.

  • Automotive industry and/or die casting industry experience.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to analyze information and create charts or graphs.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge in gage calibration and repairs.

  • Technical knowledge of quality management systems, IATF, and IMDS.

What you will be doing:
  • Handling day-to-day administration of document control activities, including maintaining documents and filing of electronic/hard approvals.

  • Operate as Administrator of Spartan Quality Operating System (SQOS) and ensure its functioning based on customer requirements and other related standards.

  • Coordinating and performing the purchasing, repairing, and calibrating of gages.

  • Managing the audit and containment process including generating audit reports and providing ongoing support and training to auditors.

  • Coordinating and conducting risk assessment training while maintaining training records.

  • Supporting IMDS processes, handling requests and entering information into the IMDS website.

  • Preparing information for management review meetings and updating presentations.

  • Ensuring compliance with IATF requirements and customer requirements in all areas of document control, auditing, and management review presentations.

  • Identifying gaps and inefficiencies and proposing changes to quality policies and procedures.

  • Contributing to a positive work environment through professional involvement.

  • Performing other duties as assigned and participating in ad hoc projects as needed.
