Orange Business Switzerland is looking for a driven and experienced AI Engineer to join our AI team! Do you enjoy working with the latest technologies in machine learning, deep learning LLMs, AI modeling and implementation, especially in the cloud? Then we'd love to meet you!

As an AI Engineer at Orange Business, you'll work on challenging projects with leading clients, applying (Gen)
AI to accelerate business processes, automate insights, and enable new forms of interaction. Think of developing machine learning systems, intelligent agents, and integrating LLMs into existing systems.

You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists focused on innovation, knowledge sharing, and impact. This is your chance to lead the way in a rapidly evolving AI landscape! The AI team is a new team within Orange, consisting of a close-knit group of specialists whose goal is to take AI to the next level for both Orange and our customers.

We combine our expertise in data science, engineering, machine learning, and cloud to develop innovative solutions with real impact.

• Design, develop, and implement AI solutions—from predictive models to GenAI applications that directly contribute to our customers' strategic objectives;
• Collaborate with customers and partners to define, build, and deploy AI applications;
• Build scalable AI pipelines and automate model training, validation, and deployment (MLOps);
• Perform in-depth data analysis and feature engineering to support model development;
• Apply current AI techniques and trends, such as generative AI, LLM integrations, or computer vision;
• Monitor model performance and continuously improve based on real-time feedback and business objectives.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or another technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record of high-impact AI projects.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning and/or deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with Generative AI, including tools and libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, Lang Chain, Azure OpenAI, or Azure AI Foundry.
• Strong Python skills and experience developing and maintaining AI models.
• Experience setting up scalable AI workflows and MLOps processes, preferably with Azure ML, AI Foundry, or MLflow.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and experience with data preprocessing and model deployment in the cloud.
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Azure Dev Ops, or Git Lab.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English. German is a plus.
